As of January 23, 2025 subtrades have been filled. Bids will be received for the following bid packages: Building Demolition, Concrete, General Trades, Masonry, Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Metals, Roofing and Sheet Metal, Aluminum Glass and Glazing, Drywall and Acoustical Ceilings, Painting, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Excavation, Site Utilities, Asphalt and Landscaping. Award to the successful bidder will be made within sixty (60) days. Contractor is responsible for all measurements and must personally inspect the site to verify the scope of the work to be bid. The Park District has determined that the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act applies to this work and therefore Contractor shall comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and shall pay, and require every Subcontractor to pay, the prevailing rates of wages as established by the Illinois Department of Labor for each craft or type of work needed to execute the contract in accordance with 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq. The successful bidder shall also comply with all laws, statutes, regulations, ordinances, rulings, or enactments of any governmental authority which are applicable to the work or the project.
