Site work and paving for a civil project in Bloomington, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of January 7, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on the 3rd week of January. Description of Work . The proposed construction consists of 1,300 L.F. of 4-inch min, I.D. HDD force main; wastewater pumping station including 6-foot diameter wet well and valve vault, 5-HP duplex submersible pumps, pump control pane!, 35 kW natural gas generator, site restoration, HMA driveway, PCC pavement replacement, and other miscellaneous items of work. This procurement is also subject to the requirements of the EPA disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) program. The grant recipient requires all bidders to undertake specified affirmative efforts at least thirty (30) days prior to bid opening. All DBE requirements are contained in the specifications. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidders bond, certified check, bank cashiers check or bank draft payable to the Bloomington-Normal Water Reclamation District for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions. Rejection of Bids . The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder.
