Extension of Radio Frequency Shield (Phase 1) and Interior Door Replacement (Phase 2) - WPS HQ - 245 Smith Street The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of installation of a new RF Shielding Vestibule and Main Floor Elevator Lobby Door replacement as per drawings and specifications. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Demolition of existing RF Shielding Vestibule P1121A and all related electrical components as per drawings and specifications. (b) Construction of new RF Shielding Vestibule P1121A enclosure as per drawings and specifications. (c) Complete enclosure to include walls, floors ceiling and access door as per drawings and specifications. (d) Reinstall/relocate existing card access hardware, thermostat, new electrical components as per drawings and specifications. (e) Ensure all new/relocated components are tested and operate properly. (f) Contractor to mitigate dust in the area as it will remain partially occupied during construction. Floor to ceiling hoarding within work area is required. (g) Replace existing Main Floor Elevator Lobby Door with new Fire Rated Door as per drawings and specifications. (h) Existing Grille above door to be removed and opening infilled as per drawings and specifications. The funds available for this contract are $110,000.00. A Performance Bond of a Company Registered to Conduct the Business of a Surety in Manitoba, in the Form Attached to These Supplemental Conditions (Form H1: Performance Bond), in the Amount of Fifty Percent (50%) of the Contract Price; and (B) a Labour and Material Payment Bond of a Company Registered to Conduct the Business of a Surety in Manitoba, in the Form Attached to These Supplemental Conditions (Form H2: Labour and Material Payment Bond), in an Amount Equal to Fifty Percent (50%) of the Contract Price; or Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
