The City of Calgary is seeking qualified consulting firms to act as architectural coordinating registered professionals and provide full architectural, engineering and specialty services, for investigation, advisory services, design, contract documentation, procurement, construction contract administration, and close out services to The City for maintenance, upgrade, additions and renovation projects related to building infrastructure. There will be three (3) categories of projects in this RFSO (see classification tool in Appendix F): Category A (Lower Complexity Renovations/Additions): Projects deemed to be of low complexity (classification level 1 and 2*). These projects have well-defined scopes of work, few dependencies and/or are low to moderate impact.**The total value of this three-year contract is approximately $3,500,000. Category B (Higher Complexity Renovations/Additions): Projects deemed to be of higher complexity (classification level 2 and 3*), and/or of multiple phases, and/or of value greater than $250,000. In addition, these projects have numerous dependencies and/or moderate to high impact. Individual projects include fees estimated to be more than $250,000 ($750,000 average) with the frequency of approximately 5 projects per year (divided amongst the awarded vendors). The total value of this three-year contracts is approximately $10,000,000. Category C individual projects fees and frequencies vary. Total potential spend over the length of this RFSO is estimated to be $17,000,000.
