As of december 6, 2024 this project was awarced to Zuni Electric in the amount of $378,187.80. A. The Work of this Contract comprises installing a fiber optic cable and decorative lighting approximately 1,500 feet through the zoo and access control at the Gift Shop. Integrating fiber optic cables is a strategic move for the Gift Shop, significantly enhancing its network capabilities. The Gift Shop location ensures secure and reliable communication with the City network by establishing a VPN through the internet service provider (ISP). Decorative lighting fixtures will be located at approximately 150-foot intervals along the walkway. Adding WAPs (Wireless Access Points) at all lighting locations will provide seamless wireless connectivity while integrating CCTV systems and bolstering security measures. The innovative use of decorative lighting fixtures to house these technologies not only optimizes space but also preserves the aesthetic appeal of the environment. B.
