Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Work designated as Street Maintenance Program FY2021 (PHASE 1) consists of, installing new water line, valves, water connections, new water services and fire hydrants, the removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk, curb/gutter, the construction of a new accessible ADA driveway apron, earthwork, asphalt milling, asphalt paving, aspalt paving patch work, traffic control, and appurtenances, in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and other Contract Documents. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: LICENSE REQUIRED: Water Main, Service Lines, Valves and GF-9 or GF-98 Fire Hydrants (includes utility pavement patch) Remove and Replace Concrete Sidewalk GA-1, GA-3 or GA-98 Remove and Replace Curb and Gutter GA-1, GA-3, or GA-98 Remove and Replace Driveway Aprons GA-1, GA-3 or GA-98 Remove and Replace Asphalt Paving GA-1, or GA-98 Prospective BIDDERS are advised of a 10% Bid Evaluation Criterion for area businesses that will apply to this Project. The CONTRACTOR is advised to obtain specific information as to the qualifications and conditions of the Bid Evaluation Criterion before submitting a Bid. A Bid Security shall accompany each Bid in the amount of not less than five (5) percent of the total Bid amount. The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Bid amount to assure the performance of the Contract, as well as payment for all labor and materials of the Contract. No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, and the City of Alamogordo reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and waive all technicalities and formalities. No BIDDER may withdraw their Bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the Bid Opening thereof. Attention of BIDDERS is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract.
