Contractor shall provide a variety of demolition services on an as-needed, on-call basis. Typical work to be performed under the resulting agreement will include, but not be limited to the following types of services: a. Demolition of structures deemed a hazard by County officials b. Removal of debris and trash from properties deemed a hazard by County officials. The responsibilities of Contractor include, but shall not be limited to, the following. 1. Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, and equipment to perform demolition services on a variety of jobs at various facilities. 2. Disconnect all utilities and properly capping/terminating services. 3. Hazardous material abatement testing and removal. Will be required to follow the NESHAP, 40 CFR 61 subpart M. 4. Proper containment and air clearance required. 5. Provide waste manifest of all hazardous materials removed from site. 6. Demolition of specified structures and outbuildings identified by owner. 7. Complete removal of all debris and trash and to ensure proper disposal at a registered site. 8. Any required permits and bonds. 9. Contractor has all salvage rights. Any inquiries or requests regarding clarification of this procurement document shall be submitted to the Procurement Officer in writing. Offerors may contact ONLY the Procurement Officer regarding the terminology stated in the procurement documents. Other County employees do not have the authority to respond on behalf of the County The term of this agreement will be for one (1) year with the option to renew and additional three (3) years, each year being contingent upon successful performance in the prior year. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities and technicalities, and to request resubmission. Any sole response that is received may or may not be rejected by the County depending on available competition and timely needs of the County. The County reserves the right to award the contract to the responsible Offerors submitting responsive proposals with resulting agreements most advantageous and in the best interest of the County.
