The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents. This Project will be subject to Wage Determination, Standards and Regulations established by the U.S. Secretary of Labor under the Davis-Bacon Act. This bid is for a public works contract and bidder is therefore subject to the provisions, duties, obligations and penalties of the Public Works Employment Verification Act, 43 P.S. 167.1-167.11. All submitted bids shall be accompanied with the Public Works Employment Verification Form. In addition to the Equal Employment requirements of Executive Order 11246 regarding discrimination, the Contractor must establish a 3% goal for female participation and a 5% goal for minority participation in his/her aggregate on-site construction workforce for contracts in excess of $10,000. The work will generally include but is not limited to the following tasks: 1) Furnish one (1) glass lined steel above-ground potable water tank with a capacity between 200,000 and 225,000 gallons and an overall height not greater than 22 feet. 2) Furnish equipment, labor and materials required to install said tank with necessary water service lines, connections and disconnections with existing pipe and any other necessary components.
