The Contractor will perform tree planting services throughout the Town Center in accordance to the Town Center Tree Planting Project Specifications in consultation with the Tree Warden, in a good and workmanlike manner ("Services"). Contractor agrees to perform its Services in accordance with the Project schedule provided by Owner. The term of this Agreement shall commence on March 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025. Any questions regarding the specifications may be directed, in writing only, no later than November 7, 2024 at 4:00 pm to mageek@guilfordct.gov with a copy to the Purchasing Department at purchasing@guilfordct.gov. Each bidder will be required to submit to the Office of the First Selectman, their original proposal with one (1) copy, and a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid. Each bidder shall honor the bid price for ninety (90) business days from the date of the bid opening, without modification. Upon award of the bid, the winning bidder shall be bound by the bid proposal price throughout the contract period. The Town of Guilford reserves the right to reject any or all bids; or to waive defects in same, if it deems such to be in the best interest of the Town.
