Community Center~HVAC Ductwork Cleaning & Insulation Replacement The Town of Guilford is seeking competitive bids from qualified and responsible vendors for HVAC system cleaning and insulation replacement at our Community Center. Any questions regarding the specifications shall be directed, in writing by email only, no later than October 3, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. to Pam Gery, Parks & Rec Director at geryp@guilfordct.gov with a copy to Darlene Minore, Manager of Purchasing & Accounting at purchasing@guilfordct.gov and Todd Rake, Facilities Supervisor at raket@guilfordct.gov. Each bidder is required to submit to the Office of the First Selectman their original proposal plus three (3) copies and one (1) electronic copy (flash drive), as well as bid security in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid. Each bidder shall honor its bid price for ninety (90) business days from the date of the bid opening, without modification. Upon award of the bid, the winning bidder shall be bound by the bid proposal price throughout the contract period. The Town of Guilford reserves the right to reject any or all bids; or to waive defects in same, if it deems such to be in the best interest of the Town.
