Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Livermore, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 23,500-square-foot, two-story above grade laboratory facility; for site work for a laboratory facility; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) has a need for employee meeting space and fitness and enrichment activities at Site 200 location central to the LLNL population. This facility will replace currently used locations in aged facilities. The objective of the project is to abate and demolish existing trailer (T4675) and build a new ~23,500 gross square foot ground-up two-story fitness and amenity Employee Center building and associated site improvements. The work includes, but is not limited to abatement, demolition, grading, earthwork, site utilities, paving and drive aisles, concrete foundation and slab, concrete masonry unit and framed exterior walls, insulated metal panel wall system, storefront and cuirtain wall window system with insulated low-E glass, structural steel roof framing and columns, single-ply roofing system over rigid insulation over metal decking, elevator, stairs, stud framed interior walls and gypsum board, tile work, lockers, framed and suspended interior ceiling systems, rooftop mechanical system, plumbing system, and electrical power and lighting systems. Location : Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, site 200, 7000 East Avenue, Livermore, CA 94550 Additionally, the project will feature a steel and aluminum trellis system, landscaping, site furnishings, planting, irrigation, and bio-swales. The New Employee Center, building 460, will bring many opportunities for meeting/event space, fitness, employee engagement, networking, and work-life programs at the Livermore Campus. This project includes three alternates and two options. Alternates may be selected at time of award. Options may be selected up to 180 days after award. *The magnitude of the project is $18-28M. * *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
