Renovation of an educational facility in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 11,552-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

As of January 16, 2025 subtrades are being awarded. Demolition is underway. NOTICE: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Bartlett Cocke General Contractors (713-996-9510), Construction Manager at Risk, on behalf of The University of Houston Systems, will receive Sub-contractor Proposals for: The University of Houston Downtown One Main Building - Level 5 Renovations, on November 19, 2024, prior to 2PM. All Bid Documents will be posted on Building Connected by close of business Monday, October 28, 2024. Proposals will be received in the Presence of the Owner at the offices of Bartlett Cocke General Contractors, 904 N. Sam Houston Pkwy. West, Suite 100. Contact: dsims@bartlettcocke.com for requests for information. Submit proposals electronically to: bidHou@bartlettcocke.com. All Proposals shall remain valid for 90 days. A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 4, 2024, at 9:00 AM. Meeting Location: University of Houston Downtown - Academic Building - L3 Auditorium. The Owner and Contractor reserve the right to reject all proposals, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the proposal process, and to make the awards in the best interest of The University of Houston System. By submitting a proposal, each proposer agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner or the Contractor and their respective employees arising out of or in connection with administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any proposal; waiver of any requirements under the Proposal Documents, or the Contract Documents: acceptance or rejection of any Proposals; and award of a Contract.
