Work of the Contract is for construction of Brays Bayou Greenways Segment BR15 Proposed Trail Between Hillcroft Avenue and Chimney Rock Road as follows 1. Construction of a reinforced concrete Hike and Bike Trail, including clearing and grubbing, crushed limestone flexible base, signage, seeding, sodding and planting. 2. Sidewalks, trail, and wheelchair ramps shall comply with current Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requirements. 3. Contractor will be responsible to provide plant protection in accordance with the plans and specifications. 4. Contractor will be responsible to implement the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for the Brays Bayou Greenways Segment BR15 Proposed Trail Between Hillcroft Avenue and Chimney Rock Road and use best practices during construction. Project construction activities will disturb an area up to 1 acres. See Section 01410 - TPDES Requirements. Contractor shall be responsible for all fees, including notices, fillings and permits associated with SWPPP and TPDES requirements at no additional cost to HPB. The Cash Allowance for TPDES permits is limited to the application fee for the Notice of Intent for Storm Water Discharges Associated with Construction Activity under TPDES General Permit. The work includes but is not limited to: The installation of a 10' wide concrete trail, bridge ramp, various amenities such as benches, trash and recycle containers, drinking fountain, picnic tables, flag pole, and site lighting. Project Locations: Brays Bayou Greenway on the North side of the bayou between Hillcroft Ave and Chimney Rock Rd. A cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond and payment bond as provided for in the bid documents, for the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 60 days from the date bids are opened. Estimated Construction Budget: $1,121,000 to 1,344,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
