Renovation of a municipal facility in Oakland, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Work at the East Bay Municipal Utility District's 10-story Administration Building at 375 11th Street, includes furnishing, testing and installing new fiber optic cables between existing Network Room 25 on the 3rd floor and various telecom rooms and spaces from the 1st through the 9th floor, verifying existing conditions for cable installation and validating cable routes, and furnishing and installing new patch panels at termination points along with all associated components, including fiber optic cables, conduits, supports, connectors, patch cords, etc., required for complete and turn-key fiber cable installation, and performing all related required work as shown on the drawings and specified. Estimated Cost: - $300,000 to $500,000 A bidder's bond of not less than 10 percent of the total bid dollar amount is required. Performance and payment bonds for not less than 100 percent of the contract price are required. As provided in Section 22300 of the Public Contract Code of the State of California, the Contractor may substitute securities for monies withheld by the District to ensure performance of the work.
