Casework Material and Installation Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance required for the work. The owner will receive sealed lump sum pricing until the bid time and date at the location given below, bids will be read aloud at the advertised time. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in bids received, and to accept any or all portions of a bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the District. The Invitation to Bid implies no obligation on the part of the District, and the District's silence does not imply any acceptance or rejection of any bid or quotation offer. The District reserves the right to select a bid with higher prices than the lowest of all prices received if in the opinion of the District interests will be best served by such a bid. Raymore-Peculiar School District shall be the sole judge in determining successful bidder(s) in regard to quality, price, and performance. The project will offer special education students the opportunity to immerse themselves in day-to-day tasks experienced in life after high school. It will offer courses in basic meal preparation, setting a dining room table, maintaining a clean living space, basic home repair, interior design, budgeting, and farm-to-table cooking from an on-site garden. Other students from different departments and interest areas will assist with the house as well, in design, upkeep, improvements and maintenance.
