Sealed Bids for the construction of Warsaw Waterline Extension for the City of Coshocton Contract A - Waterline East Portion -The work for which Bids are invited consists of the furnishing of all materials and labor for the installation of approximately 30,100 feet of 12" ductile iron waterline, 600 feet of 6" ductile iron waterline, including associated gate valves and fire hydrants, and water booster station. The estimated construction cost for Contract A is $5,232,000.00. Contract B - Waterline West Portion - The work for which Bids are invited consists of the furnishing of all materials and labor for the installation of approximately 13,600 feet of 12" ductile iron waterline, 2,400 feet of 8" ductile iron waterline, 3,600 feet of 6" ductile iron waterline including associated gate valves and fire hydrants. The estimated construction cost for Contract B is $3,260,000.00. Contract C - River View Water Tank - The work for which Bids are invited consists of the furnishing of all materials and labor for the installation of a new 200,000 gallon water tank with an altitude valve vault, a new altitude valve vault on the existing 100,0000 gallon water tank, the decommissioning of the Warsaw Water Treatment Plant and well abandonment. The estimated construction cost for Contract C is $950,000.00. Contract D - Water Meter Replacements - The work for which Bids are invited consists of the furnishing of all materials and labor for the installation of approximately 300 new water meters of varying size (5/8" to 2") and a AMI fixed base station. The estimated construction cost for Contract D is $300,000.00. Bidders are required to register with and obtain Bidding Documents from the office of Engineering Associates, Inc. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of the project. Additionally, contractor compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. This procurement is subject to the EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small business in rural areas (SBRAs). Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Coshocton County and the City of Coshocton, Ohio as determined by the Davis Bacon Act. This construction of this project will be funded in part with funds made available from the Federal Government through the US Army Corps of Engineers Section 594 program. Bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations for construction projects receiving Federal aid including, but not limited to, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and the Davis-Bacon Act as amended. The right is reserved by the Council of City of Coshocton, Ohio to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities or to accept any Bid which is deemed favorable to the City of Coshocton, Ohio.
