This project requires 33% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on January 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Region Two/District Two Office in Dixon. Phase III engineering services are required to provide Materials Technician(s) (Office/Field/Lab) for various materials inspection for various projects in District Two. The Consultant will provide support for various IDOT materials functionality, technical office work, inspection, and field/lab processes throughout District Two. The position(s) will report directly to District Two headquarters located in Dixon, IL. each day to perform tasks and/or receive assignments, unless assignments are given in advance which require reporting to an alternate location. This work may involve working directly with contractors, producers, suppliers, local agencies and/or other consultants. The estimated engineering fee for this project is $3,000,000. The completion date for this contract will be 60 months after authorization to proceed.
