The HAVERHILL HOUSING AUTHORITY, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Gas Stove to Electric Conversion at State Aided Development: Kennedy Circle (667-2) in Haverhill, Massachusetts The Project consists of but not limited to: Gas to electric stove conversion, gas piping removal, new electrical distribution, new stoves, cord and receptacles, new load centers, feeders, gear and meter stacks. (10) buildings, (81) Stoves. Asbestos abatement and gas piping work is also required. The work is estimated to cost $640,000.00. All bidding Requests for Information (RFls) shall be submitted online by 11/12/2024 at 3:00PM EST for general bids. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates) and made payable to the HAVERHILL HOUSING AUTHORITY. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA.
