Site work for a civil project in Algood, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
CONTRACT 124 consists of the construction of a new water booster station, including pumps, controls, concrete, masonry, piping, valves, etc., the demolition of the existing 75,000-gallon steel water storage tank and the construction of a new 300,000-gallon ground level prestressed concrete water storage tank as well as all necessary appurtenances to provide a complete the station and tank per the plans and specifications. The allotted time for construction is 360 calendar days. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of his bid and shall, before entering on the work of said contract, be licensed as a contractor of the CITY OF ALGOOD. No bid may be withdrawn within 90 days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids thereof. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. The allotted time for construction is 360 calendar days. Any person with a disability requiring special accommodation must contact the CITY OF ALGOOD no later than 7 days prior to the bid opening. The CONTRACTOR will furnish all the material, supplies, tools, equipment, labor and other services necessary for the construction and completion of the project described herein.
