The Town of Culpeper is requesting quotes for a supply of bulk rock salt for the 2024-2025 winter season. Initial contract period will be for one year (FY25) with the option to renew for three additional one year periods. The standard town contract will be used and is attached for your reference. The salt is to be used for snow and ice control, and our storage capacity is approximately 150 tons. Our total winter requirement ranges from 75 to 225 tons. If you have any questions or require additional information, please feel free to reach me at lwortman@culpeperva.gov. We require shipments of approximately 25 tons on dump type tractor-trailers. Shipments will be delivered to the Town's storage facility at 1835 Industry Drive, Culpeper, VA 22701 on an "as needed" basis.
