Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including any addenda, obtained from a source other than the Issuing Office (The East Group). The Greenville Utilities Commission has adopted a resolution that requires the Commission to solicit minority and women owned businesses to Bid on the Project. The established goals for this project are a 7% goal for minority participation and 4% goal for women participation. Bidders are also required to make good faith efforts to secure bids from Minority and Women Owned Businesses. Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87 and the Instruction to Bidders.
