This information is required to provide access at the facilities security gate. Background Information SacSewer (EchoWater) operates the EchoWater Resource Recovery Facility in Elk Grove, CA. EchoWater has a security entry gate at Dwight Road which is a perimeter access gate for the EchoWater Facility. This gate was completely damaged recently. The Dwight Road gate controls unauthorized people and vehicles from entering the facility outside the normal business hours which is a key for the security of the facility. Scope of Work Dwight Road Entrance Gate Replacement Project The project is to remove and dispose of the old gate, install a new gate that architecturally matches the existing exit gate design with a new HySecurity SlideDriver 30F Model 222 (480V, 3 phase, 60 Hz) or equivalent with aluminum drive rail and two new Gaze model number IGAZERSR66HD photo eyes (transmitter and receiver) or equivalent. The project should also include all new gate fabrication using a minimum 2"x4"x0.1875" tube steel frame with 2"x2"x0.1875" intermediate frame sections, Surface welds shall be ground smooth prior to hot dip galvanize the new gate. Six new infill panels shall be hot dip galvanized, three new 6" solid steel machined V-groove wheels, all hardware, and a new 4" x 4" inside gate receiver/roller post. The gate shall be fabricated in two sections and welded on site. All onsite welds shall be spray painted with hot dip galvanized paint. A traffic control Plan (i.e. Capital Barricade, Inc.) for Dwight Road for entering and exiting the Plant shall also be included in this project. The work to be completed in this RFB #8489 shall include all labor, equipment, materials and coordination of Traffic control. Question Due Date: November 19, 2024 by 3:00 PM Bidders are hereby notified that pursuant to Part 7, Chapter 1, Article 2, Section 1770, et seq., of the Labor Code of the State of California, the successful CONTRACTOR and its subcontractors shall pay their labor forces not less than the general prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, and travel and subsistence pay as such are defined in applicable collective bargaining agreements filed in accordance with Section 1773.8 of said Labor Code, for work needed and performed on this project. It shall, pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773.2 of said Labor Code, be a requirement of the work for the successful bidding contractor to post and maintain a copy of said wages' determinations at the project site throughout the duration of the work.
