All questions are due by 12:00 pm on November 25, 2024. SCOPE OF SERVICE: 1. Bidder shall seal coat rubber surfacing (both PIP and Pebbleflex) for Twenty Three (23) playground sites. 2. Sealant shall be an aliphatic binder. Binder must consist of Dicyclohexylmethane-4, 4' Diisocyanate, CAS # 5124-30-1, or equivalent as approved by District. Bidder to provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) with bid. 3. Bidder shall provide 6' temporary chain link fencing around each rubber surface to be sealed to ensure no encroachment onto surface during seal coat application and the complete drying process. Fencing cannot be place in the fall zone of any play equipment. Fencing is to be removed within 24 hours of approved completed work. 4. Bidder shall remove any and all debris from surface prior to applying sealant to meet the manufacturer's requirements for surface preparation. This would include blowing off entire area and possibly pressure washing dirty or mossy areas. If pressure washing is necessary, caution should be used as to not damage the surface. Bidder should also inspect all locations prior to work being done to determine which sites might need pressure washing so they have time to dry prior to sealer coat application. 5. Sealant shall be applied using a roller process. 6. Sealant shall not be applied on windy days to avoid debris from blowing on wet binder. 7. Bidder shall notify Cosumnes Community Services District (District) Project Manager at completion of the seal coat application at each location and will remain on-site for up to 60 minutes, to allow District Project Manager to visually inspect and approve seal coat application to satisfaction of District
