Background The City of Richmond Water Treatment Plant (WTP) currently has a capacity of 130 million gallons per day (MGD). The WTP receives water from the James River into the facility via a feeder channel, where large and small particles are removed using settling basins and filtration systems. Work to be done under this Contract includes mechanical dredging of the feeder channel to maintain optimal capacity within the channel. The question response deadline has been changed to Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 5:00PM. It is the official goal of the City or Richmond to increase the dollar value of all contracts awarded to minority business enterprise and emerging small business (MBE/ESB) contractors and subcontractors to the highest level that is reasonably achievable for any particular field of contracting. To implement this policy, the City shall encourage minority participation through subcontracting and certain business development methods in contracting for services. Please submit the attached MBE/ESB Participation Commitment Form, indicating the percentage of MBE/ESB participation you propose for this project
