Separate, sealed Bids will be received for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of Resurfacing Improvements to Various Roads in Coffee County, Georgia, for the County's Fiscal Year 2024 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG) as awarded from the Georgia Department of Transportation The Scope of Work Includes: Patching, Leveling and Resurfacing Improvements to Various Roads All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Coffee County Board of Commissioners in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the Coffee County Board of Commissioners. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The Contractor shall be a current "Prequalified Contractor" with the Georgia Department of Transportation, Office of Contract Administration or shall be approved in writing by the Coffee County Board of Commissioners prior to bids being opened. A copy of the Contractor's "Notice of Contractor Qualification" as issued by the Georgia Department of Transportation or a copy of an approval letter from the Coffee County Board of Commissioners must be submitted with the bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner has the right to add or to delete from the Contract once it has been awarded. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of the bids.
