**As of February 26, 2025, the project was awarded to Peek Pavement Marking, LLC, with an awarded amount of $307,768.10 ** The Scope of Work Includes: Signing and Striping Improvements to Various Roads (50.17 Miles) All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Coffee County Board of Commissioners in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the Coffee County Board of Commissioners. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Coffee County Board of Commissioners as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. All work on the project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of the notice to proceed.
