Twin Falls County Elevator Modernization Project Twin Falls County is seeking bids from qualified, licensed contractors for an Elevator Modernization Project for the elevators serving the Juvenile Detention Area located at Twin Falls County West, 650 Addison Avenue West, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with all current codes, regulations and ordinances. The project is to be bid with two options. Option A will be to repair and modernize both elevators (one elevator at a time leaving one functioning elevator in service). Option B will be to repair and modernize the one elevator that is currently out of service. When that elevator is complete, functional and in service the contractor is to take whatever steps are required by code to remove the other elevator from service. The Successful Bidder will be required to diligently pursue the work and complete the project as soon possible. Each bidder is required to visit the site of the work to review all existing conditions. All bids must be accompanied by a copy of the contractor's Idaho Public Works Contractors License, a current copy of the contractor's certificate of liability insurance for an amount not less than one million dollars. A brief schedule for completing the work must also accompany the bid. Bids received after the time set forth above will be considered nonresponsive and will not be opened or considered. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount and said bond shall become binding upon execution of the contract. The Twin Falls County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids. Written objections to bidding procedures must be received by Bob Beer at least one full business day before the date and time the bids are scheduled to be received.
