Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Hackensack, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The work will include but is not limited to the construction of the new Johnson Park Sports Complex which consists of an 81,380 square foot membrane pre-engineered metal building with exterior and interior tension dome structure for athletic activities. The Contractor is responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this Project as described in the Construction Documents. The Contract will allow 460 calendar days for completion of the work from the Notice to Proceed. . A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the City of Hackensack, or a duly executed Bid Bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of each Bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the Bidder together with a Surety Consent evidencing that they can obtain the required Performance Bond. The Successful Bidder will be required to deliver to the Owner an executed Performance Bond and an executed Payment Bond of a responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. The right is reserved to waive any informalities, to accept Bids which it deems most favorable to the interest of the City to make an award on each item separately or as a whole and to accept any Bid or to reject any or all Proposals in accordance with the Specifications and the Bid forms.
