Bid Security A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a Bid Bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid within 60 days after the date of the Bid opening. The successful Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond and a 100 percent Payment Bond with a surety company satisfactory to the Owner and conforming to the prerequisite requirements of Article 6 of the General Conditions. The Bid is subject to Minority and Women's Business Enterprises (M/WBE) participation requirements and a successful bidder shall submit to the Authority a MWBE Utilization Plan within 10 calendar days of receipt of a Notice of Award. M/WBE participation requirements shall be in accordance with the Owner's latest M/WBE policy, which has a combined minimum of 15 percent. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids. Bidders are required to certify, under penalty of perjury, that Bids have been prepared without collusion with other Bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. This certification is included with the Bid Form and each Bidder must sign in the space provided. Prospective Bidders must register with the Issuing Office's designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the Issuing Office's designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Bidders shall review and acknowledge all addenda on the Bid Form.
