The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo ("RMWB" or "Municipality") is seeking a Contractor to rehabilitate the existing Timberlea Reservoir and Pumphouse facility, which will include but is not limited to, the following upgrades: Addition of a new pump room to house multistage sleeved vertical turbines, Wet well and basement piping replacement, Existing pumphouse space redesign to construct an office and laboratory, New exterior packaged generator unit and load test unit, Increase the reservoir capacity by 10%, Reservoir concrete rehabilitation, Underground utility upgrades, Rehab all HVAC system, Upgrades to external building, Replace the roofing system, and Provide security fencing and CCTV cameras. TIMELINE: Tender from general contractors issued in 2024 was subsequently cancelled by the owner. A construction tender may be issued in 2026.
