Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Emporia, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development; and for the demolition of a residential development.
The city is requesting bids for demolishing the structure located at 1201 Woodland, Emporia Kansas. A separate bid price for demolition and salvage shall be required. The demolition contractor must provide proof of liability insurance and shall be licensed and bonded with the City, prior to submitting the bid. All demolition will be in accordance with Building and Construction Regulations, Article VIII, DEMOLITION. Contractors shall be required to obtain a licensed plumbing contractor to cap sanitary sewer. A demolition and plumbing permit will be required. Permit and tipping fees will be waived by the city, however copies of the weight tickets will be required for the location. The contractor will be given 45 days, after receipt of the award, to complete the project. As per State Statute, all bids must include a deduction for salvage for the location.
