**As of April 22, 2025, project was awarded to Sheridan Construction but awarded amount is not available. The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary to construct the new Cottages located at Maynard Street. The work shall be installed as detailed on the construction drawings and specified herein and all incidental work required for a complete and functional building. Contractors are responsible for traffic control and erosion control per Barrow County requirements. Payment of the Contract Amount will be made on a periodic basis on applications for payment from the Contractor and approved by the Owner / Project Manager / Architect based on work accomplished, products furnished and products stored on the site. Progress payment requests shall be submitted by the Contractor no later than the twenty-fifth (25th) day of each month during the term of the Contract, and payment shall be made by the Winder Housing Authority within thirty (30) days after receipt of approved progress payment requests, less retainage and other deductions provided in the Contract Documents. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. All bids must be on the required bid form found in the specifications. A five percent (5%) bid bond will be required.
