SCOPE OF SERVICES BCSS is requesting quotes for the following areas needing service. 1 Pressure washing the sidewalk areas (148,384 sq ft) 2 Pressure washing Canopies (80,870 sq ft) 3 Pressure Wash the entire building (422895 Lin Ft) 4 Pressure wash Monument signs (5548 Sq ft) 5 Pressure wash mobile trailers/Pods (76320 sq ft) 6 Bleachers (42,470 Sq ft) Barrow County School System is the 24th largest school system in Georgia with 2,000 full- and part-time employees, including more than 900 teachers and other certied personnel, who work in 20 schools, programs, and administrative buildings. During the 2023-2024 school year, approximately 15,340 students will attend classes in 10 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, 3 high schools and 3 innovative programs. PROJECT BUDGET The estimated annual project budget is between $25,000 to $60,000. GENERAL INFORMATION AND INTRODUCTION Barrow County School System (BCSS), seeks to retain a professional pressure- washing firm (Contractor) to provide bi-annual (1 time a year/ or as requested) pressure washing services at all school system properties. Additional As-Needed services may also be required. A list of all school property addresses, and overhead views will be in "Attached to these RFP documents. Pressure washing is needed to remove items such as gum, heavy soil, miscellaneous stains from sidewalks and dirt / debris and bird excrement from all areas pressure washed. CONTRACT TERM The contract shall run (1) year from the date of execution. BCSS retains the sole option to offer to renew the contract for an additional (3) years (on an annual basis) for a potential total of (4) terms. A renewal is contingent upon acceptance of the offer by both parties. The award of a contract is no guarantee that all terms will be awarded.
