Renovation of a medical facility in Port Alberni, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This Request for Tender is being issued by the Vancouver Island Health Authority ("Island Health") as it is seeking tenders from qualified Respondents to complete the Elevator Replacement at West Coast General Hospital, 3949 Port Alberni Hwy, Port Alberni, BC V9Y 4S1. The Project includes, but is not limited to, replacement of the two hospitals hydraulic elevators (public and freight), which are at the end of their life cycle, with new electric traction elevators including all required modifications and upgrades. At least one elevator must be always kept in operation, therefore work will require to be phased. The Elevator Vendor/Equipment Procurement and Contract is the responsibility of the General Contractor.
