Honesdale Borough Council will accept sealed bids for winter road maintenance for the 2024-2025 season. Winter maintenance includes treatment of roads and snowplowing and removal services on 33.91 miles of roads. Requirements include knowledge of snow plowing techniques and best practices; ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing work environments; strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. In-house stock of treatment materials is available. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, reserving to the municipality the right to reject any or all or waive any informalities. -
