This work includesthe following: Install approximately 1,251 L.F. of Storm Pipe, 12 Curb Intakes, 1 Area Inlet, grading, erosion control measures, concrete and asphalt removal and replacement, fence removal and replacement, and surface restoration. Bidders will be responsible for all materials and installation of the piping, manholes, excavation, backfill and compaction, testing, pavement repair, surface restoration and seeding, and any other appurtenance necessary to complete the specified work. Questions received less than 5 days prior to the date for opening of BIDS will not be answered. A certified check, bank draft, or a bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved Surety Company in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each proposal. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities in bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of bid opening. All bidders must agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the OWNER for any damage or claim brought by any bidder because of such rejections, nor shall the bidders seek any recourse of any kind against the OWNER because of such rejections, and the filing of any bid in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the bidder to these conditions. All material, work, and equipmentshall be in accordance with the plans and specifications.
