NorthStar VMF Fueling Station Description: The work of this project includes furnishing and installing a train fueling station at the Big Lake NorthStar Vehicle Maintenance Facility (VMF). The fueling station will contain a 25,000 gallon fuel tank and complete fueling system with appurtenances. Work includes all restoration work to impacted paved surfaces, turfed areas and other impacted features. The work of this project includes the installation of a 25,000 gallon fuel tank to the Metro Transit NorthStar VMF Facility in Big Lake to allow for more flexibility with fueling and less dependency on after hour fueling vendors. This project will also add two fueling stations for locomotives as well as a fuel tank and fueling distribution management systems.
