Cusky Pond Dam Removal includes establishing access route to dam, demolition of an earthen dam, excavating and regrading of embankment soils, streambed restoration, site restoration, water control and miscellaneous work in the Town of New Braintree, MA. Barre Road Culvert Replacement includes installation of traffic controls, demolition of the existing corrugated metal culvert, installation of a precast box culvert with associated headwalls and wingwalls, installation of a drain manhole, catch basins, stormwater treatment unit, and drain pipe, construction of boulder riffle grade control, pavement restoration, guardrails, chain-link fencing, site restoration, water control, and miscellaneous work in the Town of New Braintree, MA. ' Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Massachusetts Dept. of Transportation (MassDOT) Highway Division in the Bridge-Culverts category to bid on the above project. An award will not be made to a Contractor who is not pre-qualified by MassDOT Highway Division in the Bridge-Culverts category prior to the opening of proposals. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents and shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the value of the bid. Bid deposits, payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Fish and Game, shall be in the form of a bid bond, certified, cashier's or treasurer's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company.
