Estimate: $42,000,000 High Desert Corridor Joint Powers Agency Engineering, Design, and Related Advisory Services for the High-Speed Rail Project The Los Angeles County Public Works is requesting proposals on behalf of the High Desert Corridor Joint Powers Agency (HDC JPA), from qualified firms to provide the High Desert Corridor Joint Powers Agency Engineering, Design, and Related Advisory Support Services for the High-Speed Rail Project that will provide service from the City of Palmdale in North Los Angeles County to the Victor Valley communities in the County of San Bernardino. Proposers must submit questions in writing and request information for this solicitation by 14 calendar days prior to the submittal deadline. The term of the Consultant Services Agreement (Agreement) will be for five (5) years, commencing on the date of full execution of the contract. The HDC JPA shall have the right, at its sole option, to extend the term of the Agreement for up to three additional two-year terms to be exercised by the HDC JPA if it deems appropriate to do so. No work will proceed until a Notice to Proceed is issued by the HDC JPA. This Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) contract goal is set at 23%. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
