The City of Quincy, on behalf of the Department of Public Buildings, invites bidders to submit sealed bids for the North Quincy High School Unit Ventilator Replacement Project, in accordance with contract documents prepared by Alares Engineers. General bidders must be DCAMM certified in Mechanical Contracting. Electrical The work of this contract includes but is not limited to the replacement of 15 unit ventilators and 11 fan coil units within risers with all valves and accessories, provide new valves and accessories for recent replaced unit ventilator (E) UV-K-0, install isolation valves for risers R1, R2, R3, R4, R4A, R5, and R, replace all fin-tube radiator control valves within risers R1-R2, R3-R4-R4A, and R5-R6 with manual valves, replace isolation valves where the piping from risers R1, R2, R3, R4, R4A, R5, And R6 branch onto each floor, and provide DDC control for new unit ventilators and fan coil units and tie into the existing building automation system. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
