Renovation of a municipal facility in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 12,598-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.
The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Remove the existing roof system down to deck, salvage existing EPS insulation for reinstallation. System tear-off includes the removal of a single-ply membrane system, removal and salvaging of 1" and 5" layers of EPS insulation, with metal deck to remain. 2. Installation of new roof systems correlating to the demolition required. Beginning at metal deck includes the installation of a self-healing self-adhering vapor barrier, reinstallation of existing 1" and 5" eps layers, installation of new crickets, new 5/8" glass-mat sheathing, and new adhered single-ply membrane. Reinstall flashings where noted, and install new spring-loc style coping. Project may include potential replacement of existing materials where damaged as outlined in the unit cost and contingency allowances. B. Type of Contract 1.
