Cityof Rock Springs does hereby call forbids for a general contract to consist of the construction of a clearedfield of approximately 13.25 acressuitable for the disposal of ClassA Biosolids. The work consistsof clearing and grubbing, roughgrading work, and the installationof Riprap. The Project is locatednear the intersection of SunsetBoulevard and Interchange Road.The project area abuts the Western side of the City of Rock SpringsWater Reclamation Facility, with theSouthern boundary of the site being the Union Pacific Railroad Rightof-Way Mainline Tracts. The site willbe accessed via Interchange Road.The Project is entitled "City of RockSprings - Class A Biosolids DisposalArea." It is anticipated that the bid will be awarded at the January 21, 2025 CityCouncil meeting. A certified check, cashier's check,or bid bond in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of anybid must be filed with said bid, tobe forfeited to the City Council asliquidated damages if the bidder isawarded the contract and fails toenter into a contract with the Cityof Rock Springs within ten (10)days after Notification of Award.The successful bidder must furnish Performance and PaymentBonds guaranteeing the faithfulperformance of the contract andthe payment of labor and materialsthereunder. Said Bonds are to bein the sum of one hundred percent(100%) of the contract price and insubstance and form and executionas shall be approved by the RockSprings City Council. The City of Rock Springs reservesthe right to waive any or all informalities in the bidding process andthe City of Rock Springs reservesthe right to accept or reject any orall bids and to accept the bid whichis deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Rock Springs, allby State Statutes. No bidder will beallowed to withdraw his bid for aperiod of thirty (30) days or untilthe successful bidder has enteredinto a contract with the City of RockSprings, Wyoming, Max Mickelson,Mayor.
