No definite date for the rebid.** Blaine Harbor M-Dock Extension Rebid The scope of work for this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the completion of the project identified in the Contract Drawings and within Specifications. This includes but is not limited to the protection of surrounding areas, prevention of contamination of adjacent water bodies, removal of existing creosote timber guide piles, their subsequent replacement, demolition of the existing boathouse (roof, floating docks, and utilities), installation of new floating docks with guide piles in its place, disconnection and reconnection of utilities associated with Boathouse #1, demolition of a section of concrete float of the adjacent concrete marginal walkway, and reconnection of utilities associated with the concrete section to be removed. Note, the floating docks will be fabricated by others. The Contractor will be responsible for floating the new docks into place, connecting them together, and securing their location with new guide piles Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, money order, or an original signed and stamped surety bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to the Port of Bellingham. BID GUARANTEE - Original signed and stamped surety Bid Bond or Bid Deposit (cashier's check). The amount of the bid guarantee shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. See POB General Conditions #7 & the "Form of Bid Guarantee" for instructions on how to prepare the bid guarantee. Any and all questions related to this project must be submitted via email prior to 5:00 PM, local time, on Friday, May 23, 2025. The Port of Bellingham reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. Engineers estimate: $1,175,000.00 - $1,375,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Port of Bellingham reserves the right to modify the "Scope of Work" in issuance of the Construction Drawings. These modifications include but are not limited to: 1. Mobilization and operation of all landside and floating equipment throughout the duration of the project, along with demobilization of all said equipment following the completion of the project; 2. The total number and location(s) of existing creosote-treated timber guide piles for demolition, removal, and disposal; 3. The total number and location(s) of existing creosote-treated timber batter piles for demolition, removal, and disposal; 4. The total number and location(s) of existing concrete guide piles for demolition, removal, and disposal; 5. The total number and location(s) of existing Boathouse #1 timber floating docks for demolition, removal, and disposal; 6. The total number and location(s) of existing concrete floating docks for demolition, removal, and disposal; 7. The total number and location(s) of existing Boathouse #1 structure for demolition, removal, and disposal; 8. The total number and location(s) of existing Boathouse #1 metal roof sheets for demolition, removal, and disposal; 9. The total number and location(s) of existing utilities for demolition, removal, and disposal; 10. The number and location(s) of proposed steel piles; 11. The number and location(s) of proposed HDPE pile caps; 12. The number and location(s) of proposed floating dock modules; 13. The number and location(s) of proposed utilities and utility connections; 14. The number and location(s) of proposed transition plates; and 15. Furnishing hot-dipped galvanized steel piles from top of pile to mudline.
