Interior build-out of existing 920 sf shell space area of MCTF 2nd floor. The scope includes kitchen equipment, sinks, electrical panel and transformer, lighting, A/V, and HVAC. Architectural work includes raised floor, partial ceiling, storage cabinets and countertop/casework. Estimated project duration is 90 calendar days. Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Lump Sum Base Bid, excluding alternates, shall accompany each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: B: General Building Contractor. The successful Bidder shall pay all persons providing construction services and/or any labor on site, including any University location, no less than the UC Fair Wage (defined as $15 per hour) and shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local working condition requirements. Site walkthrough description: A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference/Job Walk will be conducted. Only bidders who participate in the Pre-Bid Conference/Job Walk in its entirety will be allowed to bid on the Project as prime contractors. Attendees should plan to arrive in ample time to secure parking prior to the scheduled meeting time. Only prequalified bidders will be allowed to submit a Bid on this project.
