Bids must be submitted on the District's Bid Forms. Bids shall be based on payment of not less than the prevailing wage rates for this locality and project as determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code Section 1770 et seq. While the work is more fully described and detailed in the Plans and Specifications, it includes the following: Construction of a pump station on the District's main lift canal, including construction of a concrete sump structure and electrical control building, installation of District furnished pumps, motors, all related electrical equipment, and various appurtenances. Construction of a pipeline distribution system including the furnishing and installation of PVC pipe, with diameters ranging from 14-inch to 36-inch and all related appurtenances.
