As of December 9, 2024,this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 19, 2024. The Oswegoland Park District will receive sealed bids for the Fox Bend Culvert Replacements. Contractors must have experience in this type and size of work for a minimum of five years and will be required to furnish references and examples of projects. The Oswegoland Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Work of the project includes but shall not be limited to the following: 1. Erosion and Sediment Control 2. Construct temporary construction access (as required). 3. Demolition and removal of existing metal culverts and head walls (two total locations). 4. Furnish and install prefabricated concrete box culverts and end sections (two total locations). 5. Perform site restoration work. B. In addition, the work shall include but not be limited to the following: 1. Engineering and construction services required to perform or install the Work. 2. Surveying to ensure the Work is located as indicated on the design drawings. 3. Maintaining the project site in a dry condition that includes dewatering of all excavations performed by the Contractor, redirecting any surface water as a result of rainfall or water generated by the installation Work. Any ground-water and/or surface water which requires removal from the area of work shall be disposed of in compliance with local, State, and Federal regulations. The methods and proposed place of discharge shall be approved by the Owner prior to disposing of the water. 4. Excavated material and other construction related debris shall be disposed of off site. 5. Maintaining a record of the installation (i.e., as-built drawings) in accordance with the technical requirements of this specification. 6. Daily site cleanup and disposal of waste and debris. 7. Provide installation quality assurance and quality control submittals where required.
