Board of Public Works of the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, that sealed Bids for: Spy Run Creek Dam Removal The funding source for this project is Stormwater Utility Revenue and grants from NFPP-BIL, GLFWRA, and IDNR LARE. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and power for the complete performance of the following project, Spy Run Creek Dam Removal as follows: Removal of two low head dams within the Spy Run Creek all in accordance with the Bidding Documents as prepared by Christopher B. Burke Engineering LLC, Indianapolis, IN. No Bid will be accepted from, or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, upon any debt or contract, or, who has failed to execute, in whole or in part in a satisfactory manner, any contract with the City; or, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the City, or is in litigation with the City. No Bid may be withdrawn for at least 90 days after the scheduled time for receipt of Bids so as to allow review of Bids before announcing award of Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid.
