Renovation of a museum in Newcomb, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
No allowances can be made for delays in delivery. Refer carefully to the Instructions to Bidders for specific bid requirements. When requesting drawings, the bidder shall also copy erin@aarch.org on the request. If you require verification of receipt, then ask upon bid document request. Contractors shall be responsible for printing their own 24" x 36" drawings and 8 1/2" x 11" Project Manual, and for distribution of project information to secondary subs and suppliers. The property is owned by the State of New York within the Adirondack Forest Preserve. Partial funding is provided by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation and both NYS prevailing wage rates and Good Faith goals for Minority and Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) participation apply. The project will be a single contract for installation of a high-pressure water mist fire suppression system at Great Camp Santanoni, including all ancillary components and sub-systems associated with the water mist installation. Great Camp Santanoni is a National Historic Landmark within the Adirondack Forest Preserve and installation must follow New York State preservation standards, along with Forest Preserve regulations. Adirondack Architectural Heritage has been and will continue to be an equal opportunity organization. All persons and qualified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) suppliers, contractors and/or businesses will be afforded equal opportunity without discrimination because of race, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual preference or Vietnam Era Veterans status. As of November 13, 2024, this project is bidding for fire protection installation contractors that specialize in historic installations. Construction is expected to begin May 2025 and finish November 2025.
