Renovation of an educational facility in Newcomb, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bids must include a Field Order Allowance in the amount of $19,500. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids Remove existing metal roof and vented overbuild 2. Provide vented overbuild and asphalt shingle roof assembly 3. Replace existing wood trim soffits, and building skirting with fiber cement panel and trim 4. Provide spray foam insulation at underside of existing roof sheathing 5. Insulate attic ductwork 6. Provide stone drip strip around building perimeter
