Description: o Approximately 45,819 linear feet of 16" diameter buried ductile iron or PVC pipe. If PVC or ductile iron pipe is selected, only one material type will be allowed for that portion of the project. o Approximately 210 linear feet of 12" diameter buried ductile iron or PVC pipe. If PVC or ductile iron pipe is selected, only one material type will be allowed for that portion of the project. o Approximately 41,253 linear feet of 10" diameter buried ductile iron or PVC pipe. If PVC or ductile iron pipe is selected, only one material type will be allowed for that portion of the project. o Approximately 170 linear feet of 8" diameter buried ductile iron or PVC pipe. If PVC or ductile iron pipe is selected, only one material type will be allowed for that portion of the project. o Approximately 170 linear feet of 6" diameter buried ductile iron or PVC pipe. If PVC or ductile iron pipe is selected, only one material type will be allowed for that portion of the project. o Approximately 620 linear feet of 4" diameter buried ductile iron or PVC pipe. If PVC or ductile iron pipe is selected, only one material type will be allowed for that portion of the project. o Approximately 20 linear feet of 3" diameter buried PVC pipe. o Approximately 6,778 linear feet of 2" diameter buried PVC pipe. o Approximately 300 linear feet of 30" diameter horizonal direction drilled HDPE encasement pipe; o Approximately 110 linear feet of 20" diameter jacked or bored highway crossing steel casing pipe; o Approximately 100 linear feet of 18" diameter jacked or bored highway crossing steel casing pipe; o Approximately 110 linear feet of 16" diameter horizonal direction drilled PVC encasement pipe; o Approximately 115 linear feet of 12" diameter horizonal direction drilled PVC encasement pipe; o Approximately 430 linear feet of 10" diameter horizonal direction drilled PVC encasement pipe; o Approximately 240 linear feet of 6" diameter horizonal direction drilled PVC encasement pipe; o Miscellaneous appurtenances including isolation gate valves, combination air valves (including pits), direct bury gate valves, blow-off assemblies, service taps, curb stops, and meter pits; o Temporary and permanent erosion control, fencing, reclamation and seeding; o Corrosion protection system components including joint bonding, tracer wires and tracer wire access boxes, galvanic anodes, test stations, coating and linings, and cathodic protection systems; o Traffic control and haul road maintenance during construction; o Pipeline cleaning, hydrostatic pressure testing, flushing, disinfection and commissioning; and o Clean up and all other miscellaneous work required, not herein mentioned, but inferred from the construction Contract Documents. Our work was performed in accordance with the authorization of Jared Larson with Banner Associates. The scope of work as presented in this report is limited to the following: 1. To perform 31 standard penetration test (SPT) borings to gather data on the subsurface conditions at the sites. 2. To perform laboratory tests that include moisture content, dry density, Atterberg limits (liquid and plastic), sieve analysis, resistivity, pH, sulfate content, chloride content, resistivity, redox potential, sulfide content and standard Proctor. 3. To prepare an engineering report that includes the results of the field and laboratory tests as well as our earthwork and foundation recommendations for design and construction. The scope of our work was intended for geotechnical purposes only. This scope of work did not include determining the presence or extent of environmental contamination at the sites or to characterize the sites relative to wetlands status.
